²Shake yourself ^(A)from the dust, ^(B)rise up,
O captive Jerusalem;
^(C)Loose yourself from the chains around your neck,
O captive daughter of Zion.

³For thus says the Lord, “You were ^(D)sold for nothing and you will be ^(E)redeemed ^(F)without money.” ⁴For thus says the Lord ^[a]God, “My people ^(G)went down at the first into Egypt to reside there; then the Assyrian oppressed them without cause.
